About Dolphin View
Dolphin View is located at The Pines, on the western side of Yorke Peninsula. The Pines is next to Corny Point, 50 km from Yorketown and a three hour drive from Adelaide.
The property is only 100 metres from the shoreline and affords scenic views of the ocean. Sit out on the deck and enjoy the relaxing seaside atmosphere. If you like fishing, you can throw a line in at the beach in front of the property at high tide -- whiting, flat head and mullet abound (cockles make the best bait).
Whether you're an international tourist or a South Australian local just looking to get away for a weekend -- if you're looking to rent some accommodation on Yorke Peninsula, or a comfortable short-term or long-term Yorke Peninsula holiday house, you can't go past Dolphin View! It's great for solo vacations, romantic weekends, family getaways or group stays.
There is plenty to see and do throughout the region, including:
- Some of the best beaches in South Australia, great for swimming, surfing, sailing, fishing or a family picnic;
- Innes National Park: serene, yet full of wildlife, with bushland, rugged cliffs and secluded ocean beaches;
- Wineries, breweries & distilleries and other local produce;
- The Coastal Way road trip;
- Museums with both European and Indigenous culture;
- Regional exploration with Aboriginal Cultural Tours;
- Walk The Yorke, a 500km leisure trail for walkers & cyclists.
Eating Out
While you're in the area, don't forget to visit Berry Bay and the Corny Point Lighthouse. The Howling Dog Tavern at Corny Point and the Tavern on Turton at Point Turton are a great venue for a pub meal. If you want to treat yourself then the InlandSea Restaurant near Warooka is excellent.
The best bakeries for your trip over or back are Kipling's Bakery at Pt Wakefield (best curry beef pies ever!), Ardrossan Bakery (great finger buns!), and Minlaton Bakery (a good all rounder).
